We all have wonderful memories put away for safe keeping. But, why not safely keep them where you can enjoy them?

Scrapbooks

Family - Child art, family photos, vacation souveniers, baby outfits, christening dresses

Kindergarten - High School - College
Pictures, "awards" or diplomas

Military Service - Medals, uniforms, awards or retirement certificates, flags, and photos

Shadow Boxes

A custom designed shadow box offers a safe harbor for your memories. We use Acid free materials, conservation mounting techniques and U. V. glass to block the harmful, ultra violet light which can fade your treasures.

How much are your memories worth? Shadowboxes start as low as $60.00. Bring your memories by our store and we will be happy to give you an estimate.

Frames

How important is the preservation of your art?  The framing technique utilized can either preserve or ruin your art.  Can you tell which mat is acid free?  And, how is the art mounted?  What about glass: can it make a difference?  In truth, every aspect of conservation framing makes a difference.

A framed Historical Print

We only use 100% acid free, museum quality matting.  We have over 1,500 mats to choose from.  We mount your print on acid free foam core, using acid free corner pockets.  No tapes or adhesives ever come in contact with your print.  Our frames come from top of the line moulding manufacturers and all frames are solid wood construction (no plastic or particle board).  We offer a huge variety of colors, styles and profiles with over 2,500 samples to choose from.

We have the glass you want - clear, non-glare, U. V. clear, U. V. non-glare, Denglass, and museum.  Whether a valuable print or an original painting by your 3 year old, the glass you choose can make a huge difference.

Take a $300.00 print and $150.00 for mat, frame and mount. Then spend $30.00 for glass, hang it in your living room with window light and watch your $450.00 investment slowly fade away.  You should go the extra mile, opt for the $68.00 glass and it will stop 97% of harmful U. V. light and protect your investment.

At The Art of Framing, your right to professional advice and a professional outcome is recognized.  We strive for excellence in craftsmanship and proudly stand behind our service.
